2016 Members Pick ‘Em Winner Receives His Prize

At Season’s start we opened up our annual Members-only Pick ‘Em competition. The winner after a tiebreaker of all tiebreakers has now got his hands on the 2016 Pick ‘Em prize.

The winner was Ed Kenny. Ed, who lives in Cork went toe to toe with Sam England for most of the season. After 17 weeks, they were tied and had to go into a Playoff tiebreaker. That seemed set to also be a tie, until Tom Brady did Tom Brady things.

So Ed won out…eventually! Today he received the prize- a Jermaine Kearse signed ball- and sent over the pictures to prove it…

(CHECK OUT THAT MAN CAVE!)

Ed also sent along his ‘Seahawks Backstory’ :

“My support for the Seahawks started back in 2001 while working with Microsoft. Due to frequent trips over and back from Ireland to Seattle I was fortunate to attend a number of games in CenturyLink field. The UK Seahawkers Chapter has been a brilliant way to keep in touch with Seahawks fans on this side of the pond.”

“The benefits of the chapter are many (especially the opportunity to get on the field in CenturyLink during pregame). I was lucky to win the ‘pick ’em’ competition two years back when I received a ball signed by Cliff Avril from the late Ian Robert Smith.  The prize is superb.”

“Special thanks to Sean Wilson, Stuart Court and all of the UK Seahawkers. Go Hawks!”

Ed’s signed ball will now take it’s place in his very impressive man cave!

But to be in the running for the 2017 Pick ‘Em prize, it is all very easy. Become a member, join the league at the start of the season and then ask Ed for his picks.

Easy!

Massive Congrats to Ed on his win!
